WHAT IS MAINTAINER U?

Maintainer U is a structured, hands-on training program built around real production work, experienced mentors, and clear career pathways. Training blends classroom instruction with hands-on shop experience, ensuring participants learn both the why and the how behind every process. Participants are trained by tenured Maintainer employees using the same equipment, tools, and standards used on the production floor.

Classroom-To-Career Program

The Classroom to Career Program introduces high school students to skilled trades through a flexible, structured training model that complements school schedules while building real world skills. It targets high school juniors and seniors that are interested in skilled trades, manufacturing, or hands-on careers. No prior experience required!

01 | Classroom Introduction

Build a strong foundation in safety fundamentals, tool and equipment basics, and gain an overview of Maintainer career paths while understanding workplace expectations.

02 | Hands-On Training

Develop practical shop skills through structured training tasks, with exposure to multiple disciplines in a supervised environment.

03| Skill Alignment

Identify individual strengths and interests while focusing training within selected disciplines to build deeper expertise.

04| Transition Opportunities

Move into paid training after 30 hours, with opportunities for part-time or full-time employment and potential job offers upon program completion.

SCHEDULING:

Scheduling is designed to be flexible and convenient, offering afternoon training blocks with 4–5 day weekly options, all structured around school calendars.
