A growth mindset is viewing challenges as opportunities to learn rather than being a threat to your identity. Instead of saying “Why am I not good enough?” reframe the question into “What can I learn from this?” Resilience champions the everyday actions and attitudes that build resilience.
Rooted in the idea that resilience goes beyond simply bouncing back, it is looking forward with purpose and confidence. Developing a growth mindset invites people to think broadly about resilience, from everyday safety habits to long term environmental, health, well-being, risk awareness, sustainability, and cyber and digital choices. We make over 1,000 choices a day.
Resilience matters because it is the foundation for well-being, safety and sustainable performance. In a world where change is constant, cultivating resilience equips people to adapt with confidence. True resilience supports safer workplaces, healthier communities, and stronger organizations. It encourages reflection on how our choices affect not only ourselves, but also those around us, to pause and focus on resilience as proactive practice.
Weave resilience into everyday conversation and actions, everyone can contribute to a culture that is stronger and more future ready. Raising awareness of the everyday actions that help us adapt, stay safe, and thrive.
By using the STOP Model (Stop. Think. Observe. Prevent) we can imbed safety into our lives through thoughts and actions. From hazard spotting to incident prevention, we are building a safety-first culture where everyone looks out for themselves and each other.
