The 50th anniversary celebration was a rousing success! Thanks to all the team members that made it happen. I know it was a lot of work, but the feedback from all those that attended showed they were blown away with the hospitality, the facilities, and event. Well done!
50 years in business is an amazing accomplishment. Less than 2% of all companies that start are still around after 50 years. Most don’t make it 10. When you compare companies that do make it 50 years, they have several things in common:
First, they are relationship-driven. Relationships are more important than revenue for startups. Having some core accounts is the foundation for survival. Maintainer has long-running relationships and accounts.
Second, they are value-driven and anchored in culture. In other words, having core philosophies and beliefs that are supported and shared with customers sustains companies through good times and bad. We believe that quality, great service, and doing the right thing are most important in building a great company.
Third, evolving and adapting to change is fundamental to long-term growth. Our commitment to product development, giving customers what they want, and embracing technology is important. Companies that don’t won’t survive. Kodak was one of the largest companies in the world at one time but failed to embrace the digital transformation in time. Apple, (who also started in 1976) has constantly adapted to change, introducing a camera in a phone which now accounts for the majority of digital photos taken.
Most of our 50th celebration activities are winding down, but we have a couple more ways to celebrate in the weeks to come.
Our tagline is “Crafting a legacy of premium truck bodies”. Every unit that leaves Maintainer contains the DNA of all the employees past and present that had a role in creating the industry’s best work trucks. You are part of that legacy. Be proud.
It’s summer! Take advantage of the many discount ticket opportunities we offer. It goes quick, kids grow up fast, and the next thing you know, it will be fall.
Enjoy!
