Happy New (Fiscal) Year!

As many of you know, our business calendar runs October through September, which means we are in a new year! In fact, we have one month under our belt, and we are off to a great start. We saw significant growth in virtually every area of our business: Total sales revenue was up, total units produced was up, and our bottom line was up. In fact, I can't find a metric that wasn't improved year-over-year, and that includes everything from quality to safety. It was an outstanding team effort.
Can we improve? Of course. The business plan that is underway for our current year anticipates more growth in 2025. In fact, October revenue reached a new high, keeping pace with our forecast. Overall, I expect more modest growth in total units shipped and revenue generated, but considering the economic decline that many industries are facing, we are in excellent shape for 2025. Kudos to the entire team once again.
Election: Regardless of how you voted in the election, the general belief is that the new administration is very much pro-business, pro-growth. The uncertainty that happens around election cycles is fading quickly, and I expect that economic growth will resume. That means more orders, on top of the one year lead-time that we are facing. The completion of the new addition and expansion of a fourth line is crucial to meet the demand for more trucks. If we don't do it, our competition will. Many people believe the election was a mandate - to focus on America first, promote more American jobs and build an economy that stimulates success for all.
2025 is the year we launch new cranes and new bodies. Undoubtedly the most significant development in our 48-year history. A body that is easier to build, with universal appeal and industry leading features and functionality, and cranes that match up better across the board with our competition. The opportunities that come from this present an exciting path for the company.
2025: Elevating Our Team With Comprehensive Training for All
We’re excited to launch the most comprehensive and complete training program in the area. I can't stress enough that the training center is not just for new hires. It is for everyone. Developing our team is at the heart of our vision, helping us build not only the best products but also the best team while enriching the lives of everyone who works here. The training center will also serve as a hub for sales and service training, customer visits, and community involvement, so expect visitors and new opportunities to connect and grow.
