New Faces, New Places, & New Apparatuses

The big top “hoop building” is now up and ready for use, and the new training center is nearly complete. We even hosted the recent job fair in the new space, marking an impressive transformation since the “Food Truck Frenzy.” The Training Center is equipped with 16 monitors for training and viewing, along with cutting-edge equipment and large windows showcasing Maintainer’s legendary service trucks. Our newest innovation, the BMT (Basic Maintainer Body), is something we can all take pride in, demonstrating Maintainer's commitment to excellence. It's a product we're excited to show off to new employees, potential customers, vendors, and valued long-time partners alike.

At the South Plant, expansions on three sides have positioned it to ramp up production with the addition of a new Line 4.

Chassis prep is up, the floor is complete and now we just need to add the hoist and power to take advantage of the new spacious environment that will help boost output in a comfortable work space.

The north building main office remodel is progressing well, with enhancements such as new flooring in the entryway, updated restrooms, and more quiet office spaces—improvements that make a significant difference for everyone.

Meanwhile, our Rock Rapids location is making strides with the use of the new HSG laser. Thanks to increased output, Leon, our dedicated driver, has been making multiple trips daily to keep up with the growing workload.

We know these changes can be disruptive, so we thank you for your patience. The expansion will ultimately benefit everyone. When we share stories with new hires about how far we've come, it will be truly amazing!

Finally, a big thank you from the Maintenance Team for your ongoing support and flexibility as we balance our regular workload with all the additional projects.

What's Next?

  • More bathrooms and locker spaces.
  • A rearrangement of the maintenance bay and box weld areas.

Remember to keep submitting work orders through the Upkeep system. We notice and appreciate your efforts in maintaining clean and organized work spaces. Keep up the great work!
