The new telematics capabilities are being featured at the Work Truck Show currently in progress in Indianapolis.

“The connected vehicle is really the future in work trucks,” said Nathan Schiermeyer, Director of Product Development & Reliability for Maintainer. “The Maintainer Connect platform will help fleet managers monitor and better understand their service truck operations.”

M_Connect_Snip1.pngMaintainer Connect can be added to any vehicles manufactured with the CAN wiring system. The system will monitor vehicle location via GPS as well as many truck functions such as crane activity, weight of each pick, air compressor and PTO hours, and more. Alerts can be set up to notify operators and fleet managers of potential unsafe conditions or when equipment needs attention.

“The system is designed to integrate with other popular chassis telematics platforms,” said Schiermeyer. “A subscription to access the data will be free for the first year and a minimal monthly charge after that.”

Demonstrations of the Maintainer Connect platform will also be conducted in Maintainer’s Booth at CONEXPO/CON-AGG next week in Las Vegas. Learn more about Maintainer Connect at https://www.maintainer.com/products/maintainer-connect.
